KIDS CORNER

IT'S YOU I LIKE

As a 70's kid, I was raised alongside Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Free to Be You & Me and T.A. for Tots (to name a few).

Fred Rogers was a wonderful teacher to me - and I felt his presence across the TV. I felt seen.  I think perhaps he was the first one to tell me that "I am Enough - exactly as I am".  As care-givers we have the opportunity to mirror presence - which can be found in the small steps and with simple tools. We have the capability of raising emotionally aware and kind human beings. It's also an opportunity to reparent ourselves.

My love and work  with children spans decades - beginning with babysitting in my teens, a daycare teacher while in college, teaching kids acting classes in my 20s and a decade of teaching with a local multi-sensory regulatory class for babies 8 weeks and up. This coupled with my specific yoga training (listed below) for kids  and my experience as a mom of 2 allows for a very interesting combination of education, tools of the trade and the overall idea of staying connected to our kids in a non-stop, device driven world.

You are more than enough - just by showing up!
