I fell in love with yoga over 20 years ago when I was looking for a way to manage my busy mind and propensity for anxiety. I immediately noticed how yoga left me feeling lighter, calmer and more present. In 2009 I became certified (200 Hr.) as Yogi Sironami with Raghavan Dass (Sivananda Yoga) and began teaching shortly thereafter. I connect with the simplicity and depth of the Hatha yoga tradition. My class follows sequences of asanas that flow one into the other covering the whole body like a wonderful (albeit sometimes intense) massage. I have been certified to teach Prenatally (Anusara), Children (Yoga Therapy) and Adults of all levels. I continue my studies with Leslie Kaminoff (The Breathing Project /Anatomy of Yoga). Over the years and through various chapters of my life, yoga has both anchored and freed me and I deeply believes that yoga will meet us exactly where we are, if we are willing to listen. A long time resident of NoHo, I am so happy to be teaching in person again in my community.
